The active ingredient in Maxi-Fen 20 is Tamoxifen Citrate (aka Nolvadex), which belongs to the group of drugs called Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERMs). This drug is usually taken by men after a cycle of steroids as it restores natural hormone levels and reduces side effects.
Benefits of taking Tamoxifen
Tamoxifen is one of the most commonly used anti-estrogen drugs for post-cycle therapy (PCT), which is a procedure required following a cycle of anabolic steroids in order to restore the body’s normal functions.
The two main goals during PCT are to restore natural testosterone production and reduce the effects of estrogen. By inhibiting the body’s estrogen receptors, Tamoxifen successfully contributes to both of these effects. Men can avoid estrogen side effects like the feared gynecomastia (man boobs) and fluid retention by reducing the effect of estrogen in the body.
Tamoxifen also lowers bad cholesterol and boosts good cholesterol in the body.
How to take Nolvadex
Tamoxifen by Maxtreme Pharma is often taken in doses of 20-40mg (1-2 tablets) a day for post-cycle therapy. PCT usually lasts between two and four weeks, depending on the steroids used and the cycle length.
To prevent side effects during the steroid cycle, it is recommended to take Tamoxifen at a lower dosage of no more than 10-20mg (half a tablet to 1 tablet) a day throughout the cycle.
Since Tamoxifen will have progestogenic side effects, it should not be used during or after cycles containing steroids like Nandrolone, Trenbolone, or Oxymetholone (Anadrol).
Nolvadex side effects
Tamoxifen taken in excess of the recommended dose may reduce the effects of steroids or boost the body’s response to estrogen. Headaches, a lack of appetite, and vision impairment are side effects of incorrect drug use.

I’m so stoked I made the switch to tamoxifen instead of clomid. I thought all of the side effects I was getting from clomid were normal at first.. turns out it was making me real anxious and messing with my eye sight. I’m there thinking this is just part of the bodys recovery process during pct. A friend suggested I change up my pct drugs so I bought this tamoxifen for pct instead and i felt sooo much better druing my last pct.
