Description
Npecia is an oral drug manufactured by Sai Michael Biotech. The active substance of Npecia is a reductase inhibitor called Finasteride, which is a treatment for hair loss in men. This drug has been specially created to lower dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is the main hormone responsible for hair loss. During a steroid cycle bodybuilders often use Finasteride, because if DHT levels rise above the normal amount, it increases the chance of baldness.
Benefits of taking Finasteride
When DHT builds up in hair follicles, dystrophy and gradual narrowing occur, and eventually the follicle dies, and the hair stops growing. 5-alph-reductase is necessary for the formation of DHT. Finasteride is a reductase inhibitor, which means it prevents formation of DHT in hair follicles. This effectively eliminates the cause of baldness.
How to take Finasteride
Nursing young mothers shouldn’t use the drug. Since there is currently no knowledge of whether the active ingredient goes into the milk, the medication is not administered during lactation. Finasteride is also not recommended for men with prostate problems.
Propecia side effects
Finasteride could have negative effects, particularly if it’s used incorrectly. Some people may develop negative side effects such decreased libido, inability to ejaculate, chest pain, and local reactions (itching, rashes, swelling of the lips and face, soreness in the testicles).
