World Bodybuilding Federation
IFBB – The International world bodybuilding federation, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, is the international governing body for amateur bodybuilding and fitness sports and oversees major international competitions in these sports, in particular world and continental championships . He also participates in several regional games from the Olympic program. The federation was founded in 1946 by the brothers Ben and Joe Vader in Montreal, Canada, under the name of the International Federation of Bodybuilders. In 2004 he changed his name to the “International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness” but retained the abbreviation IFBB.
IFBB has released many bodybuilding stars; The most notable of which are Arnold Schwarzenegger (“Terminator”), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”), Steve Reeves (Hercules), Bollywood movie star Varinder Singh, Arab movie star El Shahat Mabruk and many others.
In the beginning of 2000 the Federation tried to give bodybuilding the status of an Olympic sport, due to the fact that in 2000 this organization received a full membership in the International Olympic Committee. Thus, the IFBB sought to establish bodybuilding as a full-fledged species at the Olympic Games. This however did not happen, as many do not recognize bodybuilding as a sport.
In the modern bodybuilding industry, a professional is usually referred to as a bodybuilder who won a qualifying competition as an amateur and earned a “Pro Card” from the IFBB . Holders of this card are eligible to compete in professional tournaments, for example, “Arnold Classic” and “Night of Champions”. In turn, the high HGH for Sale results shown in such competitions give them the opportunity to participate in the competition “Mr. Olympia”. The title “Mr. Olympia” is the highest award in the field of professional bodybuilding.
Of Russian athletes such a card has Oksana Grishina in the category Fitness and Denis Gusev in the discipline of Men’s Phusique.
The IFBB annually conducts the World Bodybuilding Championships. It includes 189 national federations, which can also form continental / regional federations. There are the following Continental Federations:

World Bodybuilding Federation
In 1990, the wrestling promoter Vince McMahon announced that he had formed a new bodybuilding body, the World Bodybuilding Federation (WBF). McMahon hoped to bring his talent as a successful organizer, colorful shows and big cash prizes to bodybuilding.
Many contracts were signed with many IFBB stars, but this list was never too large, and consisted of the same competing athletes; The most famous winner and the first WBF champion was Gary Strid. McMahon formally dissolved the WBF in July 1992. The reasons for this decision were likely a lack of revenue from WBF broadcasts, low sales of the Bodybuilding Lifestyles magazine covering the world of bodybuilding, and huge expenses for paying multi-million contracts for the production of two TV shows and a monthly magazine.
