HCG affects the production of two hormones namely luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Both of these hormones are synthesized in the body under the influence of Gonadoliberin.
Additionally, HCG promotes spermatogenesis by stimulating the production of sex hormones in the testicles. As it replaces luteinizing hormone without causing the testicles to shrink, it is frequently taken before or after a cycle of anabolic steroids, speeding up recovery after the AAS cycle.
