Description
Tamoxifen 10 is an anti-estrogenic drug that is produced by Sunrise Remedies. The active substance of this drug is Tamoxifen Citrate (Nolvadex), which is in a category of drugs called Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERMs).
The drug is given to women to treat breast cancer, and it is also used by males as a post-cycle therapy drug following a steroid cycle.
Benefits of taking Tamoxifen Citrate
When Tamoxifen is taken properly, the following effects occur:
- Restoration of natural testosterone production.
- Maintaining muscle mass.
- Preventing gynecomastia and other estrogen-related adverse effects.
- Restoration of the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Testicular (HPT) axis.
How to take Nolvadex
Nandrolones, or Oxymetholone were taken throughout the cycle, DO NOT use Tamoxifen during PCT. This can result in progestin-related adverse effects. In this situation, an additional anti-estrogenic drug such Clomiphene Citrate should be taken.
The recommended daily dose of the drug is 20mg. Usually, Tamoxifen is started the day after a steroid cycle ends, however, if any long-acting, slow-acting ester-based steroids were used, Tamoxifen shouldn’t be started for two weeks after the last injection.
Tamoxifen citrate side effects
If Tamoxifen is administered at the right dosage and for the correct period of time, it typically has no negative side effects. Headaches, appetite loss, and vision impairment can happen on occasion.
