Description
Letromina is an oral drug produced by the pharmaceutical company Alpha Pharma. It is an anti-estrogenic drug which is used to treat certain types of breast cancer in women after menopause. Letrozole the drug’s active ingredient, lowers the body’s production of estrogen to inhibit or even stop the growth of breast tumors.
This amazing drug can also benefit men with high estrogen levels. Due to Letrozole, men are able to reduce high estrogen levels to a normal amount in order to avoid the feminization effects.
Benefits of taking Letrozole
Letrozole belongs to the class of Anti-Estrogens, and the subclass of Aromatase Inhibitors (AIs). This indicates that it stops the aromatase enzyme’s action, which transforms androgens into estrogens in the body (this is called aromatization).
When men use certain steroids that aromatize, such as Testosterone, Methandienone (Dianabol), Boldenone (Equipoise) and Nandrolone (Deca-Durabolin), the body converts testosterone into estrogen. This causes unwanted feminine side effects for men. The most undesirable of these side effects is gynecomastia, which is the enlargement of breast tissue in men. To avoid this, men take Letrozole to stop the aromatization process, to lower estrogen levels and increase testosterone levels.
How to take Letrozole
The typical dosage of Letrozole for estrogen control is 2.5mg per day (1 tablet). However, as every person is different, this dosage may be too high or too low for you to maintain a healthy amount of estrogen. The dosage also depends on which drugs are taken in the cycle as some drugs have a higher level of aromatization than others (for example, Testosterone has an aromatization rate that is about twice that of Boldenone). If 2.5mg daily is too high, you could take half the dosage daily (1.25mg), or you can also reduce the frequency and take it every 2 days or even 3-4 days if necessary.
Letrozole side effects
Letrozole has minimal amount of side effects. With incorrect use, there is a chance that side effects may occur. Possible side effects include headaches, nausea, weakness, peripheral edema, hot flushes, thinning hair or a mild to moderate rash.
